Well the ipad mini retina arrived at my office today…. Let’s be honest, I couldn’t wait for it to be delivered so I drove around town looking for the UPS truck.

I found him making a delivery at the pharmacy and was able to talk him in to giving me my package on the spot.

It sure beats waiting around for the delivery…. Especially when you have other errands to run… I’ve missed the driver more than once, and am frustrated when they won’t leave the package at the door.

Since several of my deliveries are computer type equipment, most of them require a signature.

Enough of that… The new ipad mini with retina is currently downloading all my apps from my previous ipad… Which I am using to type this post on BTW. Speaking of replacement equipment, I watched a video today on YouTube where someone put some Velcro on the back of their ipad and then proceeded to place the corresponding Velcro strips in various places.  The bathroom, near the toilet. The kitchen, near the stove. The bedroom, on the ceiling. The car, on the dash. A motorcycle, on the gas tank. You get the point.  It really is amazing how well an ipad can be used in all those various locations.

I have been trying to find new apps for the ipad that will help me with my web development projects. Mind mapping is a great tool, but doesn’t represent flow so well, so I am searching for a good graph or chart making app. Omnigraffle keeps coming up in my online searches… But at $49.99 I just can’t bring myself to buy it. I found an app called Grafio that offers a Lite version I am going to try out. I love it when apps give you the Lite option to try before you buy. It’s a great way to make sure it does what you were thinking it should without the buyers remorse of being stuck with an inferior product for your purposes.

I’m not making any promises, but it would like to add more content to my site. This new app I just installed called “posts” should make that whole process a lot easier.

Well, gotta run.
